Last night there was some unpleasantness as Trizzay found his way upstairs blocked by Alcina. After a brief stand-off, Alcina turned and bolted into the guest room, but not before delivering a volley of hisses and growls.
She thinks so. Trizzay doesn't really recognize her as such, though. In a sense, the difficulty at 123 is that there is ambigutity about who is the dominant cat. Back when it was just Alcina and Morgana, Alcina was clearly dominant. But then Morgana had kittens and mother cats with kittens (the queen) automatically take precedence over non-queens. Once Trizzay became full-size he regards himself as dominant, being the biggest and also the only male, but Alcina will have none of it. Meanwhile Morgana has been demoted due to the fact that she no longer has kittens and has been spayed. About the only thing anyone can agree on is that poor little Elektra is clearly their inferior, which means she is the cat that gets along the best with everybody.
Alcina looks like a sea lion in that second picture. I don't think Trizzay is status conscious, he is just like "who cares?" why are these cats making such a fuss?
