Good article about the DOS attack on 6A on Tuesday . It's insane that these spammers can mount attacks like this, and basically bring a business to it needs. Another thing that Microsoft has to answer for, because it's their inability to secure their machines that leads to spammers being able to create zombie networks that mount these kinds of attacks.

My favorite part of the article is where the guy from Blue gets all pissy about people calling them out for redirecting the attack at us. He said something like, "it's like blaming the victim of a crime."
True, but in my opinion, their actions are sorta like using someone else to shield your body from bullets being fired at you, because they're wearing a thicker sweater.
Wow, I didn't really realize exactly what it was that Blue Security did until I read this article:

They were undergoing a DOS attack and so they re-pointed their own domain at their typepad blog. Completely insane, and completely stupid. It didn't save their own server, and it just brought down 6A. It's like using someone else's body to protect yourself after you've already been shot and are bleeding to death.
