Tonight at Andronico's I purchased them some of the new high end Fancy Feast, which, were I in charge of the world, would be called "Fancier Feast" but since I'm not, is called "Elegant Medleys." How come the plural of medleys isn't medlies? Or medleies? Hmmm... I think I answered my own question.

As for the spelling, the suffix/pluralization rules are different if the 'y' is preceded by a consonant or a vowel. Why are the rules different? I don't know.
