Vox Hunt: Is For The Birds
Show us some birds.
Perfect timing, Vox Hunt, to highlight my mom's post from last weekend:

I saw the birds, too, when I was working in there on Saturday. They really seemed to think something good was inside the house. They didn't drunk on berries or disoriented, since they were crashing into the window; fortunately. Trizzay was extremely interested in the silly behavior of the sky food and let me know in no uncertain terms that he should be allowed egress to them, but I didn't, since I was afraid that in his enthusiasm to catch them he would fall, which from mom's office is a three story drop. He's not quite as skillful or as coordinated as his sister Elektra. whom I wouldn't have been concerned about in that situation.
Comments
Elektra went through a stage where she would climb up very high in the trees next to the house, like almost as high as the roof--to where the branch she was on was swaying, barely able to support her weight. That was a bit nerve-wracking, but she seemed totally unfazed and turned around to climb back down.
I remember when I came to pick up Persephone and watched her and Elektra play together. Elektra chased her up the steps in the back yard perfectly gracefully, while Persephone tripped on every step! And don't forget that video, where Persephone was so busy trying to nurse, she fell off the step! (Are you ever going to post that video?)
Now, while Ulysses will do anything challenging, like walk along the inch-wide bannister, jump up to the top of the six-foot-tall bookcase, or jump up to the high shelves in my closet, Persephone is pretty much content to limit her jumps to the bed and the couch.
